Wednesday 21 November marked the official opening of the wharf at Pinkenba by The Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland and Minister for Trade.
The event hosted a number of dignitaries from Queensland and included a special message from Prime Minister, The Hon Scott Morrison MP, read by Member for Brisbane, Mr Trevor Evans MP.
We had the pleasure of celebrating with the project team, companies involved in the construction of the superstructure and heard a speech from special guest Mr Stephan Uebachs, Managing Partner, Brameshuber + Uebachs INGENIEURE GmbH from Germany who we are working closely with to gain our accreditation for commercial use of EFC in Germany.
Darren Carr, comedian and ventriloquist from Sydney had the entire audience in stitches with his cleverly entertaining and quirky show. A key learning from yesterday is never make eye-contact with a comedian or you’ll be pulled up on stage, as one of our unlucky guests experienced!
