The Zinifex Haulage project involved a six thousand kilometre round trip from Lawn Hill in the Gulf of Carpentaria, to Port Pirie in South Australia. This project involved the cartage of Lead Concentrate, which required the use of equipment to meet strict environmental guidelines and drivers trained for material handling.
Wagners utilised 11 triple road trains to complete this project. The total tonnage carted over a five month period was approximately 15,000 tonnes.
