This project was carried out for Queensland Water Infrastructure Pty Ltd (QWI) by the Wyaralong Dam Alliance consisting of Macmahon Contractors Pty Ltd, SMEC Australia Pty Ltd, Hydro Tasmania Pty Ltd, Rizzo Australia Pty Ltd, ASI Constructors and Wagners Quarries Pty Ltd.
The Project involved construction of a Roller Compacted Concrete dam with a storage capacity of 103,000 megalitres, including a conventional concrete lined spillway and outlet works.
Wagners responsibility on this project is to crush and screen a total of 380,000 tonnes of which 360,000 tonnes is graded aggregate. We will also produce estimated 174,000m³ of Roller Compacted Concrete to be placed in the dam wall and an estimated 37,500m³ of conventional structural concrete.
