Wagners Transport is currently engaged to haul bulk ore 17km between George Fisher Mine (GFM) and Mount Isa Mine at a rate of 3 million tonnes per annum, as well as backloading 1 million tonnes of tailings per annum. Operations are undertaken on a 24/7 basis.
Wagners Transport operate six 150 tonne payload triple combination sidetippers to service this contract. Because the haul road is private we can use specialist equipment with such a large payload.
In addition to the haulage, Wagners Transport undertake periodic road maintenance involving a 16M grader and a single semi water tanker.
