This project was carried out on Sakhalin Island, Russian Far East, for Exxon Neftegas Limited by the principal contractor Fluor Daniels Eurasia. The Project involved the construction of the Chayvo On-Shore Production Facility, which receives, cleans and pumps gas into a pipe system that terminates on the Russian mainland at DeKastri.
Wagners Global Services division was contracted to produce and supply 25,000m³ of conventional concrete, 60,000 tonnes of aggregates and related equipment and services. During supply, temperatures plummeted to -40 degree Celsius with the wind chill factor dropping lower to -70 degree Celsius. Wagners sourced all the raw materials required for the project, and conducted comprehensive logistical planning to ensure the client’s project timelines and strict specifications were met.
The project was completed on target in mid 2006.
